ParentingAdolescents.com is currently seeking applications
from clinics, agencies, and other organizations in the U.S.
and other countries for inclusion in a Therapeutic Resource
Directory, to complement our existing Directory
of Clinicians. Organizations listed in the Therapeutic Resource
Directory must offer mental-health-related services to adolescents
and/or their families. [Note: summer camps serving adolescents
will be listed in the Camp Directory within the Therapeutic Resource
Directory.]
Duly licensed or certified
mental health clinics, family services agencies, family &
marriage clinics, therapeutic day schools, therapeutic [or other]
camps, residential treatment centers, and other organizations
qualified to treat adolescents and pre-adolescent children and/or
their families, are invited to apply for inclusion in the listings.
See the listing for the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis,
or Youth & Family Counseling, for
examples of what listings look like and can include.
Between 25 and 30 thousand
parents of adolescents and teens access this web site each week.
Of these, many send
in questions--both parents and teens or pre-teens--to be answered
by Jean Walbridge or Karen Martin, Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
Every letter is answered.
A percentage of answers include
the recommendation that the parent or teen consult a mental health
professional, clinic, agency, camp, or other therapeutic resource
near them.
Offering our users an online
source of information about therapeutic/camp resources in their
own communities would greatly facilitate our referring them for
consult or treatment. In addition, many visitors who never send
in a question will be able to consult the Therapeutic Resource
Directory section of the site for information about mental health,
counseling, psycho-educational, specialized, residential, camp,
or other therapeutic services that may be of help to them.
Listing for one calendar year (from the first date of posting)
in our online Therapeutic Resource Directory,
offering a targeted referral base--adolescents and their families.
Acceptance of applications is highly selective; you will join
other agenices and organizations that offer the best in expertise
and service to the community. The cost for this year-long listing
is just $150 US. [Camps are allowed to apply for a six-month
listing at $75.]
If your organization offers
services in more than one community, ParentingAdolescents.com
will list each additional site at a reduced rate of $80 US per
calendar year--or, you can simply list the addresses and phone
numbers of all the sites at which your organization operates
within the one parent listing for no extra fee.

ParentingAdolescents.com will
work closely with your organization to design a listing that
pleases you esthetically and conveys to our site users the essential
information they need about your services.
