How many parents reported "respect" as a 'top 3' issue, for each age group? The chart shows that 60% of the parents of preteens included "lack of respect for parents" as among their "top 3" issues in parenting their preteen children. Compare the votes by parents of teens/those who have both a teen and preteen in the family.

How did different groups of parents respond on "respect"? "Lack of respect for parents" was a very big issue among stepparents, and a significant issue for biological mothers as well. Comparing the biological parents category (mothers and fathers) and the stepparent category (both stepmoms and stepdads) with each other: biological parents: 31% included "respect" among 'top 3' parenting issues. stepparents: 60% included "respect" among 'top 3' parenting issues.
